These photographs utilise the fabulous technology of the Leica camera and lens. The lighting situation was next to nothing and the Leica brought out some of the most delicate colour schemes I have ever seen. Tudor Feast at Hampton Court, London. A hearty Christmas dinner as in the times of Henry 8th. I spent the day 'feasting' on the sumptuose food being prepared for the evening meal, learning how it would have been done in the period. sublime lighting allowed my Leica to revel in the fast lens capabilities. My interest in the audience is equal to that of the preparations to the meal. Two elderly ladies listen to the guide and children stand amazed, whilst grown men dress in Tudor forms to entertain and educate. I was rewarded by a tasting. Royal venison soup, and pigeon and leek Pie and custard tart for pudding.

National remodelling team. This series of photographs deals with the everchanging way that teachers are perceived, how teaching is perceived and how different types of children can benefit from different types of teaching. I visited a range of schools, some children required special facilites and some children although 'looked' as though they could cope with the everyday world, did indeed require some form of specialist teaching and care. But what is apparent with all of these children is that they are so totally happy and are simply gorgeous to be with. This project I think might be one of my most rewarding times I have had.

Bloodhound Meet at Old Farm, February 2017. ALL PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE GALLERY ARE FOR SALE contact me for prices and formats. On a very wet very spitty Winter morning the farmers Bloodhounds met at my local farm, where I was invited to photograph their welcome. Walking in a muddy field with water coming from every direction, my Leica M and 35mm f1.4 took on the challenge. Knowing I would put these in black and white I discarded the idea that it was a gloomy day and just stuck it out. Here is my selection from the morning. Enjoy. x
